Institute for the Promotion of Chinese Language and Culture

 
March 3rd, 2010 Professor Allessandro Russo from the University of Bologna, Italy visited the Institute for the Promotion of Chinese Language and Culture (IPCLC). Deputy Directors of IPCLC, Professor GENG Youzhuang and Mr. LIU Xiuyan, met Professor Russo and shared with the guest ideas for the   mutual cooperation and exchange program and the development of the Confucius Institute at the University of Bologna.
 
The University of Bologna is one of the ancient universities in Europe with a history of 900 years. Renmin University of China has had a good relationship with the University for a long time. On March 2nd 2009 the two universities worked together to establish the Confucius Institute at the University of Bologna, which stands as a symbol for further cultural and educational exchanges between the two universities.
