PhD in Sinology, Stockholm University, former Co-ordinator of the Nordic Confucius Institute in Stockholm, Researcher at The Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities, Board member of the Institute of Sino-Christian Studies, Hong Kong, Prime Mover of the workshop "Place and Role of Religions in a Harmonious Society" of the China-Europa Forum. F?llman often visits China to lecture and take part in conferences. F?llman's main areas of research are modern and contemporary aspects of Christianity in China and Sino-Western cultural exchange.
